Ernestine Miller

Ernestine Guedry Miller (Teena) of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 19, 2023, at 89 years of age. She was born October 23, 1933, in Beaumont, Texas to E.P. and Jessie Guedry and graduated from Refugio High School where she excelled in sports.

Teena retired after working in retail for many years. She loved fishing, photography, cooking, and watching sports. Her greatest enjoyment was traveling and exploring the outdoors. Teena and Howard traveled to many national and state parks and vowed to visit each one. She even created an email address, "Miller on the Go".
Teena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard Miller, and daughter, Terri (Stacy) Kline.
She is survived by her sister, Joann Pitzer (Carroll), two grandchildren, Bryce Balusek, Taylor Balusek Trumble (Geoffrey), two great-grandchildren, Ember and Kenzie, a niece and nephew.
She is loved and will be missed by family, many wonderful friends, and her caring neighbors on Padre Island.
