Our beloved mother, Enedina Marinez Reyes (AKA Annie or Ene), was called home to our Lord on June 9, 2022. During her long illness, she continually showed incredible strength, independence, sense of humor and love for her family. She always had a smile for everyone. She will be dearly missed.
She was born in Kerrville, TX on February 24, 1938 to Candelario and Guadalupe Marinez, who preceded her in death. She was married to Jesse L. Reyes for 22 years, who also preceded her in death. She enjoyed working on her yard, watching novelas, bowling, bingo, spending time with her son and daughters, and shopping at her favorite department store, Macy’s.
Enedina is also preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters, Heraclio, Alejandro, Gregorio, Abelino, Lourdes Garcia, Amelia Garza, and Soyla Gonzalez.
Enedina is survived by her children, Cynthia “Cindy” Cantu (David), Carolina “Carla” Reyes, Corina Reyes-Carter, Jesse Reyes, Jr. (Estella), Dina Reyes (Christine), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
