Emilio Herrera, age 82, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Emilio was born on August 8, 1935 in Mexico to Bardomiano and Petra. He was a hard working entrepeneur, a man of God, very friendly, a jokester at heart, very humble, a good man, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Esperanza Herrera; his children, Martha (Joe Doria) Alonzo, Juan Herrera (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Amberly, Melissa, Victor, Juan Jr., Lesly, Ernest, Rosalinda (Julian), Armando, Santiago, Ruth and Esperanza, Elena; great grandchildren, Alex, Juan Emilio, Jozyah, Makayla, Aracely, Yesenia, Natalie, Sophie, Fred, Clarisa, Marc, Sebastian, Jazmin, Alexa, Mia, Kaen, Mia Grace; and his sister, Jael Herrera.
Visitation will be at 8:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Templo Jerusalem, 2515 Coleman St, with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
