Elsa Marie Lerma

Elsa Marie Lerma, age 45, passed away on July 17, 2021. She was born on July 24, 1975 to Elizabeth Lerma and Asencion Lerma Jr. She received her GED and went on to obtain her certifications for CNA and dental assistant. Elsa was employed by Pink Zebra as an independent consultant and pursued several entrepreneurial ventures. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, spending time with family and friends, traveling to new destinations, cooking, baking, and listening to music.
   She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, devotion to family, quick wit, strength, and her encouragement, belief in, and genuine love for others. Elsa was a loving wife, mother, and daughter.
   She is preceded in death by her father Asencion Lerma Jr. and brother Gabriel Lerma. Elsa is survived by her mother Elizabeth Lerma, husband Antonio Alvarez, child Emmalisa Alvarez, siblings Roy Lerma, Miguel Lerma, and Elissa Lerma Valdez (Rudy), as well as her many nieces and nephews.
   Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 27, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with rosary and funeral mass following at Holy Family Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m.
   Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Roy Lerma, Miguel Lerma, Rudy Valdez, Roc Valdez, Patrick Rodriguez, and Richard Alvarez. Honorary pallbearers are Antonio Alvarez and Gabriel Valdez.
