Elma Garcia Garza

Elma Garcia Garza, age 61, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Elma was born on May 6, 1957 to Amador and Marina Garcia. Elma was employed by National Linen Services. She enjoyed participating in family functions, her hobbies were cooking, shopping and taking care of her family. Elma will always be remembered for her laughter, her loving devotion to her children and grandchildren, which were her pride and joy. Elma was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reynaldo Garza, her parents, Amador and Marina Garcia, four brothers, Amador Garcia Jr., Oscar Garcia, Homero Garcia, Juan Joe Garcia and one sister, Roxanne Garcia.
Elma is survived by her son, Oscar Valdez (Cindy), two daughters, Estrella Garza, Jessica Torres (Juan); one sister, Mary Alice Alaniz; two brothers, Rene Garcia, Joe Juan Garcia; four grandchildren, Erica Valdez, Andrew Torres, Alaya Torres and Alexavier Torres.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
