Obituary

With sorrow and sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our beloved and devoted father, Elias Montes, Jr. Elias was 79 years of age. He was born in Robstown, Texas and he is survived by his four children; Diana Casas, Ruben Montes, Elias "Trey" Montes, III, and Elizabeth Montejano.

Elias embraced his family with everything in him and there was nothing he wouldn't do or give to help them. He was not only kind and supporting to his family but would also extend himself to anyone in need of help. He walked with God and always put the needs of others above his own. This passage exemplifies our father's life.

Elias impacted so many people throughout his life and he will continue to bring smiles and encouragement to all those that had an opportunity to know him. He will be deeply missed as he moves on to bask in Gods glory, being reunited with his loving wife Carolina Montes.

Services are as follows:

Visitations will be Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 at The Corpus Christi Funeral Home, located at 2409 Baldwin Blvd. commencing at 5:00 p.m. and culminating at 9:00 p.m.

A church service will be held on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at The Corpus Christi Church of God, located at 5002 Cain Dr. at 1:00 p.m.

Funeral proceedings will follow the service at Memory Gardens, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
