Earl Payton Fischer Sr., age 76, passed away on January 23, 2023. Earl was born on July 12, 1946 to Sidney Arthur Fischer Sr. and Mary Louise Smith. He was drafted in the U.S. Army in 1966.
Earl was self-employed, he loved hunting, fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He will be always remembered for his kindness, generosity, devotion to his family, his hard work and his faith in God. Earl was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend.
Earl is preceded in death by his son, Randy Fischer and his brother Sidney Fischer Jr.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Earl Payton (Chiara) Fischer Jr., grandchildren, Earl Fischer III, Kailie Fischer, Shayla Fischer, Abigail Fischer, Caleb Fischer and Sofia Fischer. He also survived by his sisters, Patsy Morton, Opal Tomerlin, Georgia Saunders, Janie Fischer and Joyce Monse.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am on February 10, 2023 at Altar of Prayer Church, 3645 Ayers St, Corpus Christi, Texas with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4607 FM 1889, Robstown, Texas 78380.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Arthur Van Morton, Patrick Geary, James Bennett, Louis DeLeon, Irwin LeJeune and Thomas P. Morton.
