Dr Rodolfo Garza

Rodolfo Garza M.D., age 89, passed away August 17, 2018; born on June 10, 1929 to Jesus and Lucia Garza de Morales.  Survived by:  Richard Garza M. D. & Jennifer Keir- Garza M.D., Patricia Garza Durham & E. Arthur Durham II, Deborah M. Garza, Michelle Garza Curtis & David Curtis. Grandchildren:  Gabrielle, Alex & Miguel Garza; Cameron & Adrian Durham; Catherine, Caroline & Olivia Curtis; plus extended family in Mexico and longtime friends and colleagues.

Rodolfo was a generous and devoted father; a private, humble man with a quick sense of humor.  He balanced his professional and personal life through the pursuit of knowledge, enjoyment of the arts and traveling with family and friends.

A dedicated surgeon, Dr. Garza served the Coastal Bend community nearly four decades. During semi-retirement in Houston for over a decade, he proudly assisted the following generation, mentoring and gently sharing his pearls of wisdom.

Being a lifelong, devout Roman Catholic, blessed with a full life, his faith brought him much strength and comfort.

Funeral mass to be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5620 Gollihar Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
