On December 20, 2017 the Lord called Deborah A. Gutierrez to her eternal home. She was born on September 12, 1957 to Roy A. and Beatrice F. Gutierrez. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and in July of 1999 moved to Houston, Texas to live with her sister, Diane G. Alcalá.
Deborah was a caring person who knew no strangers. She brought joy and love to all who knew her. She enjoyed music and could identify the artist or group after listening to just a few notes. Dancing was another pastime which she enjoyed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy A. and Beatrice F. Gutierrez, and her brother, Roy F. Gutierrez. She is survived by her sister Diane G. (Robert A.) Alcalá, her niece Lisa A. (Mark) Bishop, her nephew Robert G. Alcalá (Kim Estes), and numerous grand and great nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary in her honor to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
