David Terry Lowry Sr

David Terry Lowry, age 84 passed away on October 18, 2020. He was born on February 27, 1936 to O.C. Lowry and Esther Terry. He graduated from Lufkin High school in 1954, then enlisted in the United States Navy serving from November 16, 1958 to May 1, 1984. After retiring from the Navy, Dave was self-employed as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and old fashioned western movies.
Dave was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and cousin.

He is preceded in death by his father, O.C. Lowry Sr., mother, Esther Terry, wife, Winona Lowry, brother, James Nelson Lowry, brother O.C. Lowry Jr. and sister, Margaret Brown.

Dave is survived by his children, David Lowry Jr. and Dena Lowry Quintero, grandchildren, Blake Lowry, Jake Quintero, Colton Lowry and Alex Quintero, nephew, Michael Lowry and nieces, Denise Cope, Katherine Brown, Millie Ann Buck, & Terry Lowry Toler.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
