Daniel Alejandro Jimenez Sr.

Daniel Alejandro Jimenez, Sr., age 76, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on December 11, 1941 to Alejandro Zamora Jimenez and Refugia Lerma Jimenez. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School. Dan retired from a long career in sales. Dan enjoyed all sports, particularly the Cowboys, participated in church activities and loved listening about his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved barbecuing, playing golf, and the comradery with his friends. Dan will always be remembered for his love of laughter, love for God and love for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His laughter, smile and warm heart will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dan was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, cousin and friend. Daniel A. Jimenez Sr. is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Refugia Jimenez, aunt Petra Jimenez and sister Connie Bazaldua.
Daniel A. Jimenez, Sr., is survived by Irma Coggeshall, his son Daniel A. Jimenez, Jr. (Sarah); four daughters Anna Navejar (Joe), Bertha Martinez (Jaime), Jeanie Martinez (Rene), Mary Torres (Santos); grandchildren Joe Navejar IV (Somya), Jaime Rene Martinez Jr. (Ali), April Doyle (Scott), Samantha Cunningham (Patrick), Rachel, Miranda Martinez, Xavier, Hannah, Hailey Martinez, Christian, Victoria, Julian Torres, Rebecca S., Nate S., Daniel Jimenez III, Brazil, Brian Jimenez and Rebecca Jimenez Rodriguez. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
