Daisy Martha Flowers

Daisy Martha Flowers, age 81, passed away on January 30, 2021. She was born on June 22, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to George and Perry Lee Debro Griffin. Daisy enjoyed fishing, attending church and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who know and loved her.

Daisy is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, brothers, Benny Griffin, George Griffin, Richard Griffin and Robert Griffin, sisters, Maxine Griffin and Shirley Green.

Left behind to cherish Daisy’s memory is her seven children, Mary Griffin, Harry Flowers, Dennis (Juanita) Flowers, Edward Flowers, Rodney Flowers, Cynthia (Gary) Flowers and Silmon (Sonia) Flowers, 10 grandchildren, Silmon Jr., Tyrell, Daniel, Andrew, Vantrese, Katrina, Silmeon, Daisy, Elijah and Jodi, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home Chapel, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers are Tyrell Simmons, Daniel Simmons, Andrew Flowers, Silmeon Maldonado, Elijah Flowers and Jahiree Anderson.

Due to COVID limitations, the services will be limited to 75 people. Masks are required. A live stream of the services will be available for friends to view from their home.
