Daisy DeLeon

Daisy DeLeon, age 37, passed away on November 17, 2022. She was born on June 3, 1985 to Enriqueta Cruz and Adan DeLeon but was raised by her step dad Rudy Cruz for 32 years.

Daisy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her brother Alex, she was her brother’s keeper they loved shooting pool together. She will always be remembered for being very protective of her family, her love of laugher, loud nature, sense of adventure, being a good cook and her devotion to family. Daisy was very proud of her children, she was always there to whomever needed a helping hand. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Daisy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Israel and Ramona Rivera, uncles, Victor, Israel Jr., Jesse Rivera and nephew Jeremiah Isaiah DeLeon.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Mark Anthony Acevedo (Lindsey), Juan Ricardo Medina Jr., Destiny Henrietta Medina, Eliana Henrietta Gonzales and Alexis Henrietta Medina, grandchildren, Jeremiah Anthony Medina, Kenzleigh Henrietta Medina, brothers and sisters, Adam (Jennifer) Rivera, Adrian DeLeon, Rudy (Sarah) Cruz Jr., Gina (Andrew) Rodriguez, Alex DeLeon and Lindsay (James) Baldwin. Daisy is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Aaron Jasso, Andrew Rodriguez Jr., Moses Puebla, Noah Puebla, Daniella Henrietta Puebla, Rudy Puebla, Destiny Miller, Ashton DeLeon, Mariah DeLeon, Rianna DeLeon, Lily Cruz and Ruby Cruz, great nieces Jazzlyn Jasso and Jazelle Jasso.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on December 2, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on December 3, 2022 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
