Concepcion Bautista passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Friday, June 2, 2017. She went to her eternal rest to be with our lord after a long battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's.
Preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Bautista, who has been waiting patiently for her to join him, just as he did in life! She is also preceded in death by her grandsons, Andy Villarreal and Chris Gilbert Villarreal.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law! She would offer you her last piece of bread if she thought you were hungry. Her favorite pastime was cooking for her family. She lived for holiday dinners. She would fix the biggest turkey at thanksgiving, even though she did not like turkey. She was a very silly woman who loved to make people laugh, all the way till the very end. Nobody could leave her presence without her blessing, even the aides at the nursing home received her blessing. So We cannot say goodbye without the same blessing she gave us. This is for you my sweet mama, till we see you again - "Que Dios te bendiga y te protégé de todo peligro y todo mal - amen". Si Dios quiere mi mamacita!
She is survived by her 9 children, Manuel Villarreal (Esther), Andres Villarreal (Virginia), Jose Villarreal (Rosa), Lupe Villarreal (Margo), Eliazar Villarreal, Mary Lysinger (Larry), Hector Villarreal, Enedelia Salinas (Santos), Mary Sherrill (Toby); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
