Claudio Velez

Claudio Velez Sr., age 85, passed away on September 18, 2020. He was born on April 10, 1935 to Graviela Amaya. He will always be loved and remembered. Claudio was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather.

Claudio is preceded in death by wife, Emelia Veliz, and son, Gilbert Veliz.
Claudio is survived by his children; Claudio Veliz Jr. (Tomasa H. Veliz), Hilda V. Morin (Ruben Farias), grandchildren; Rudy Morin Jr. Jimmy Joe Veliz, Gilbert Veliz, Claudio Veliz III (Ixchelle Veliz), Victoria Rivas (Mario Rivas), Elizabeth Veliz (Joe Ramirez), Christopher Veliz (Amy Holdiness), and Patricia Veliz (David Garza), siblings; Rogelio Flores (Mary Flores), Adeliada Flores Arguijo ( Ubaldo Arguijo), and Fidel Flores,25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday October 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
