Cheryl Ann Fischer

Cheryl Ann Fischer, age 64, passed away on September 18, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1954 to Garland and Jacqueline Kennedy in El Paso, Texas. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School in 1973.
She will always be remembered for her devotion, pride and love for her family. In her early years, while raising her two daughters, Erin and Christy, she worked at Kennedy Wire Rope and Sling, her family’s business. In 1991 she married Andy Fischer and gained a son, Matthew. She stayed home from work to make their house a home. Cheryl had an insatiable interest in baking and cooking delicious sweets and meats for the family and friends. She loved her four puppies unendingly and could always be found with a fresh cup of coffee while reading her Bible. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Garland M. Kennedy, Sr. and daughter Christina Maria Thompson (Alexander).
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Andy Fischer, her son Matthew B. Fischer (Valeria); her daughter Erin Elizabeth Mirabel (James); her mother Jacqueline B. Kennedy; her 8 grandchildren; her brother Garland M. Kennedy Jr. (Alisa); her sister Dorothy Kennedy Cloutet (Wayne); and her sister-in-law Peggy Hubner (Bernie).
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Seaside Reid Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
