Carol Renee Flowers

Carol Renee Flowers, age 73 passed away on November 15, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1948, to Mildred Carolyn McMillian (York) and Spencer York Jr. Carol retired from Corpus Christi Regional Transportation in 2019. She enjoyed coordinating social events and workplace events.

She will always be remembered for her philanthropist sprit, compassion for people and steadfast personality. Carol was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Co-worker.

Carol is proceeded in death by her parents, Mildred Robinson and Spencer York Jr.

Carol is survived by her mother Yvonne York. Her husband, Ezra E. Flowers, her two sons: Kenneth L. Flowers (Tia Flowers) of Houston, Texas and Karlton L. Flowers of Corpus Christi, Texas. Grandchildren: Kierra, Kayla, Kameron, Kendon, Kayleigh, Kenyan, Kennedy, Kaycee and Adrina. Great- Grandchild: Kyrie. Siblings: Beverly McMillian, Edmond York, Helen York, Alvin York (Debbie), Ada York, Berkley York, Michael York (Audrey), Nadine York, Ernestine Upshaw (Leon), Spencer York (Kelsey) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home located on 2409 Baldwin Blvd. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary First Baptist Church 2706 Carver St. at 12:00 pm (noon), Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Derrick Majschzak, Ray Mancilla, Oscar Zamora, Jose Gatica, Paul Garcia, Joel Zepeda and Chuck Trexler. Honorary pallbearers: Natalie Grady, Melissa Espinoza and Victoria Obas.
