Carmen S. Martinez, aged 73, peacefully passed away on November 8th, 1923. Born on January 1, 1950, to loving parents Arnold and Lorenza Martinez, Carmen's life was filled with cherished moments and a deep devotion to her family. After graduating from Roy Miller High School in 1969, Carmen found employment at United Artist Theaters, where she dedicated herself to her work.
Family was at the center of Carmen's life, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her adventurous spirit led her to create lasting memories, especially during family vacations in the beautiful hill country. Carmen's love for her family knew no bounds, and she will forever be remembered as a loving daughter and sister.
Carmen is preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Arnold and Lorenza Martinez, as well as her grandmother, Agustina R. Sanchez, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is survived by her sister, Yolanda M. Sanchez, nieces, Deborah E. Sanchez, Stephanie E. Sanchez, grandnephew, Ezekiel J. Ramirez, grandnieces, Darian J. Ramirez, and Taygen Ranae De La Garza.
In honor of Carmen's memory, Randy De La Garza, Taygen Ranae De La Garza, Braelyn Yepez, Carlos Sanchez, Bernie Ray Dean Lane, Jr., and Ralph Lane will have the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on November 13, 2023, from 10:00 to 10:30 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on the same day, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Carmen will be laid to rest at Seaside Memorial Park.
