Carlos H. Valdez

Carlos H. Valdez, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Carlos was born on June 15, 1937 in Eagle Lake, Texas to Francisca and Lucio Valdez. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Carlos retired from Triplex Inc., after 27 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Carlos was a good hearted loving man, always there to help. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Valdez; grandchild, Eric Pierce; siblings, Frank Valdez, Lucio Valdez, Susano Reyes, Catalina Garcia and Leonor.
He is survived by his children, Lydia Owen (Mike), Carlos Valdez Jr. (Doris), Alberto Valdez (Martina), Yolanda Endres (Donald), Daniel Valdez (Christal), Valencia Quintanilla (Israel); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, Mary Martinez (Tom) and Lydia Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
