Carlos Cortez

Carlos Cortez, age 62, passed away on October 4th, 2021. Carlos was born on the 26th day of August in the year 1959 to Raymond and Margarita Cortez.
He graduated from Calhoun High School in 1977 and went on to attend college at Victoria College.
Carlos was employed at many different organizations spending much of his career serving as General Manager for U.S. Security Associates in Corpus Christi TX and Manager at Bealls department store.
Carlos enjoyed spending time outside barbecuing with his family and friends. Watching the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros play. He would enjoy spending time watching his favorite programs on tv with his wife and sons, playing with Bella the family dog, sitting outside tending to his plants and listening to his favorite music, and talking to his neighbors as they passed by.
He will always be remembered for his love to joke around with his three boys, taking his wife Nelda out to go for a drive, and being a friendly neighbor who always offered up help in their times of need.
Carlos was a loving husband to wife Nelda and Father to his three sons Michael, Justin, and Matthew.
Carlos is preceded in death by his Parents Raymond and Margarita Cortez. Uncles Sylvester, Richard, Arthur Cortez, and Aunt Virginia Vasquez.
Carlos is survived by his wife Nelda Cortez. Children Michael, Justin, and Matthew Cortez. Uncle Victor Cortez. And his many loving Cousins.
Gathering will begin at 2pm at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 3pm.
