Calogero Louis Duenes

Calogero Louis Duenes, age 24, passed away on December 31, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1997 to Marlene Mondragon Duenes and Juan B Duenes in Pasadena, Texas. He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Calogero attended Ray High School. He married his wife Amber Uresti of 10 years on September 10, 2012. Calogero was a loving father, son and cousin. He enjoyed gaming, spending time with his kids and family. Calogero will be remembered for his love of laughter, sense of adventure and devotion to his family.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Joe Louis Mondragon and grandmother Irene R. Reyes, paternal grandfather Jose Duenes, grandmother America (Maxine) Duenes.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Amber Uresti, daughters Serina Divine Duenes, Mallory Elizabeth Duenes, parents Marlene Duenes and Juan Duenes, sisters Maria Mondragon, Elissa Duenes Andrea Mondragon, two nephews Marcos Duenes, Antonio Smittick, four nieces Milena Martinez, Lillyanna Martinez, Sophia Alvarez and Penelope Alvarez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home and continuing on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Honoray pallbearers are Alejandro Uresti, Miguel Andres Uresti, Robert Robles, Joe Louis Mondragon II, Antonio M. Pena and Adrian Duenes.
