Blanca E. Gonzales

Blanca Estela Gonzales, age 65, passed away on November 9, 2023. Blanca was born on February 9, 1958 to Fabian and Adela Gonzalez Sr. She graduated from West Oso High School in 1976 and was employed at Nolan’s.

Blanca enjoyed going to the bingo with her sisters and family, shopping and spending time with all of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and love for her family, friends, grandchildren & grand pups, Ollie and Sophie.

She was a loving grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She had many friends she held dear to her heart and loved like family.

Blanca is preceded in death by her parents, Fabian and Adela Gonzalez Sr.; brothers, Fabian Gonzalez, Jr. and Juan F. Gonzalez; sister, Guadalupe Lemos, and nephew Jose Tomas Gonzalez Jr.

She is survived by her partner Simon Valdez; her son, Edward (Jennifer) Gonzalez; and her daughter, Ana (Rex IV) LaPlante; her grandchildren, Dalilah Gonzalez, Jennaven Chavarria, Jenniah Gonzalez, Jennise Gonzalez, Jerimyah Gonzalez & Jennique Tijerina, Rex (Ashley) LaPlante V, Krysta (Christopher) LaPlante; and her three great-grandsons, Jayden LaPlante, Kai Church & Rex LaPlante VI.

Blanca is also survived by her Brothers & Sisters: Maria E. Lopez, Arnufo (Dora) Gonzalez, Margarita Herrera, Maria Yolanda Rodgers, Julian Gonzalez, Jose Tomas Gonzalez Sr., Adela (Richard) Ybarra, Reymundo Gonzalez, and Maria Isabel Gonzalez; along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved so very much.

Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., with a Eulogy message to be recited at 4:00 p.m.

A special thank you to our family and friends who cared for and were there for her throughout her life and during her battle with cancer. She loved you all so much! We truly appreciate you. Also to Vantage Hospice in Houston, TX for the friendships developed, and the loving, gentle and attentive care given at our home during her time of need.
