Benito Rodriguez

Benito Rodriguez Corona, age 69, passed away July 19, 2021. He was born October 8, 1951 to Juan Rodriguez and Natalia Corona in Sta. Rosa, San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico. He married his wife of 48 years, Maria Magdalena Gonzalez Ramirez on June 6, 1974. Benito enjoyed cookouts, family gatherings and loved tending to plants. He will always be remembered for being friendly, caring, helping others, enjoying vacation to visit family in Mexico. He was always kind to other people.

Benito is preceded in death by his brothers, Camilo Rodriguez Corona and Anselmo Rodriguez Corona.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Magdalena Gonzalez de Rodriguez, his children; Blanca Estela Rodriguez Gonzalez, Maribal Rodriguez, Rosa Rodriguez Gonzalez, Ismael Rodriguez, Eusebio Rodriguez, Herminio Rodriguez, Isidro Rodriguez, Mireya Susana Delgado, Mario Rodriguez, his siblings; Juan Crisantemo Rodriguez Corona, Reynaldo Rodriguez Corona, Escolastica Rodriguez Corona, Agustin Rodriguez Corona, Maria de Jesus Rodriguez Corona, Apolonio Rodriguez Corona and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
