Belinda Garza Zuniga

Belinda Garza Zuniga passed away in her home on November 18, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 21, 1976 to Julian Arnold and Norma Alicia Garza in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1994 and worked for the University of Michigan for twenty years.

In 2000, Belinda married her longtime beau, Jose Alberto Zuniga and together they raised three boys, Jose Alberto Jr, Royce Julian and Diego Jayden. The family resided in Corpus Christi and built a home that brought joy to so many.

She loved family gatherings, fishing and paranormal documentaries. Belinda was devoted to her children and fiercely loved her family. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and wife. Her strong will and her enormous heart will be dearly missed.

Belinda is preceded by her parents, Arnold and Norma Garza, her paternal grandparents, Arnold and Leta Garza, her maternal grandmother, Jacoba Herrera and brother-in-law, Roel “Oreo” Guevara.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Alberto Zuniga, sons, Jose Alberto Zuniga, Jr., Royce Julian Zuniga, Diego Jayden Zuniga and grandson, the apple of her eye, Julian Teodoro Zuniga.

She leaves behind two brothers and their spouses, sister-in-law, four nephews and two nieces. They include brother Arnold Garza and wife Donica Garza; brother Andrew Garza, wife Catherine Garza, and children Jeremiah, Charlotte and Jack; sister-in-law, Sylvia Guevara and children Brandon, Brittany and Blake.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Ss Cyril Methodious Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Jose Alberto Zuniga, Jr., Royce Julian Zuniga, Diego Jayden Zuniga, Julian Arnold Garza, Andrew Marcus Garza, and Guillermo Medina.

She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.
