Augustus Benjamin (A.B.) Farias
Obituary
A.B. Farias, age 90, entered his eternal rest on September 2, 2023. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 25, 1932. He will always be remembered for the care for his family and friends, his giving nature and his sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Estella Farias, his eldest son, Augustus Benjamin Farias Jr., eldest granddaughter, Robin Botello, his parents, Maggie Wells Farias and Tomas Farias, brothers: Carlitos, Tommy, Oscar, Columbus, Charlie and Jerry Farias, and sisters: Consuela Farias, Lula Stephan, Christina Falcon, Palmira Rodriguez and Evangeline Riley.
A.B. is survived by daughter, Kathy Campos, sons, John and Edmund Farias, daughter-in-laws: Rachel, Laura and Jody Farias, son-in-law, Rey Campos, grandchildren; Jackie and Victor Fuentes, Romeo “Trey” Botello III, Cory, Adam, Brandon, Kirstyn, Joshua, Benjamin, Gabrielle, Zoe, Olive and Ender Farias, and sister-in-laws, Lydia and Olga Farias.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Seaside Reid Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30am and a funeral service to immediately follow. Interment to follow at 1:00pm, Seaside Memorial Park.
