Obituary

On Thursday March 21, 2019 our Heavenly Father and Savior called his son Arnarlo Eloy Salinas to eternal rest. He was born on June 11, 1956 in Corpus Christi Texas to the late Estaban and Maria Margarita Mendoza-Salinas. Eloy resided in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a graduate from W.B. Ray High School. He was employed at Spohn Hospital, Corpus Christi Caller Times, and Corpus Christi Independent School District. He later retired from the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
Eloy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a humble and kind-hearted person; always willing to help all in need. He also expressed sincere gratitude to all that help him in return. He was a devoted catholic. He was a sports fanatic; his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Astros. He enjoyed listening to music especially Tejano music. He enjoyed watching classic and western movies. His favorited pastime was spending time with family and friends. He leaves behind many memories to be cherish by all those who knew and love him.
Eloy is preceded in death by his sisters Baby Infant Salinas, Delia S. Salazar, brothers Jose Enrique Alvarado, Jose Tomas Alvarado, Eugenio Cesar Salinas and Rene Salinas Sr.
He is survived by in-laws and 2 nieces.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Corpus Christi Funeral Home on Friday March 29, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
A mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday March 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
“It broke my heart to lose you but you didn’t go alone; For part of me went with you the day God took you home’.
