Obituary
Antonio O. Soliz, age 80, passed away on April 18, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on August 15, 1937 to Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Soliz. Mr. Soliz was a Miller High School graduate and served his country as a Master Aircraft Mechanic at the Corpus Christi Army Depot for 30 + years. At which time Mr. Soliz choose to dedicate his life fulltime to his loving wife of 62 years Mrs. Ramona Soliz and all his family. Tony enjoyed participation in music. He became a well known musician in 1958. His hobby was watching Dallas Cowboys games. Mr. Soliz was best known as Tony Soliz y Sus Sargantes. A great and wonderful musician. Having an amazing talent in singing for thousands of people, meeting amazing artists along the way. Tony lived a long, happy fullfilled, loving life, leaving many wonderful memories and legacy as told at the Greenwood Library conjunto music “HALL OF FAME” Antonio Olivarez Soliz, you will be missed and never forgotten. We Love You Daddy… He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Soliz, his mother, Rosita Olivarez Soliz, son, Antonio Soliz Jr., granddaughter, Chata, great granddaughter, Vivianna, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Antonio is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ramona Soliz; sons, Roble, Andy, David; daughters, Genevieve, Annette, Priscilla, Celia, Rosie; sisters, Mary, Yolanda; 32 grandkids, 43 great grandkids, great great grandkids; numerous family realtives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
