Anthony C. Peres

Anthony Charles Peres, Sr, 75, of Corpus Christi, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home at 2409 Baldwin Blvd. Corpus Christi, TX. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi, TX .

Anthony was born in Rockport, to TX to Rudy Nava and Stella Hernandez on May 14, 1943. He went to school at Rockport. He married Rosemary Jimenez on January 1, 1962 in Victoria, TX. He worked as a welder for 40 years.

Anthony is preceded in death by Rudy Nava (father), Stella Hernandez (mother), Pauline Rangel (sister), 3 brothers Rickey and Mark Peres and Hector Nava.

Anthony is survived by Rosemary Peres, wife, two daughters, Brenda Polanco (Jesse), Barbara Manzano (Steve) and son Anthony Peres, Jr. (Mary Ann), all from Corpus Christi, 5 sisters Yolanda Garcia, Nelda Covarrubias, Rosa Krinski, Norma Garza and Elizabeth Barrera and 1 brother Rudy Nava Jr. 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Felipe Ayala, Aaron Arredondo, Joseph and Elias Manzano, Justin Tunchez, Pete Barrera, Jr. and Hector Nava, Jr.

On behalf of the Peres family we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, phone calls, visits, food and flowers. We feel so grateful and humbled by all the emotional support we’ve been receiving from extended family, friends and members of the community. May God bless each of you.
