Anita Liserio

Maria Anita Liserio, age 89, passed away on December 6, 2021. Maria was born on November 24, 1932 to Benigno and Maria DeJesus Valdez.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, especially to her favorite band, the Bee Gees, and listening to Tejano music.
She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, always putting everyone’s needs before her own, the love she had for music and dancing, and her big, caring, loving heart. Anita was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and aunt that was known to everyone as “Mom” or “Grandma”, she loved everyone as her own.
Maria Anita is survived by her husband, Victor R. Liserio, children; Delia Flores, Joe Liserio, and LeaAnn Liserio, a combined total of 21 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, her brother, Ruben Valdez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Marcus Puentes, Zachry Zuniga, Herman Sosa Jr., Michael Lozano, Roman Villarreal, and Ryan Villarreal.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe Victor Liserio.
