Andres R. Garza

Andres R. Garza age 93, passed away on April 23, 2018 in Corpus Christ, Texas.
Andres was born on April 13, 1925 in Robstown, Texas. He worked for Red Arrow Freight Lines as a truck driver for over 35 years and was also a Deputy Sheriff for Nueces County Sheriff Department under Johnny Mitchell and Solomon Ortiz. He will be dearly missed by all. Andres is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Genovieve Gutierrez Garza; mother Clara Rodriguez Garza and father Francisco Paz Garza; sons Andres R. Garza Jr., Hector G. Garza, grandson John F. Bush; son-in-laws Jerry W. Taylor and Douglas Poe; 2 brothers Richard R. Garza, Raul R. Garza; 4 sisters Adela R. Cardona, Celia R. Canales, Rosario R. Valasquez and Ofelia R. Garza.
He is survived by his children Frank Garza (Bertha), Irma G. Taylor, Yolanda Poe, Diana Guzman (Richard), Neri Garza (Rosa), Elizabeth G. Partida (Joe) and Daughter-in-law Roswitha J. Garza; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Daniel Acuna Jr., John M. Garza, Francisco Garza, Charles E. Bush Jr., Steven P. Curtis Jr., Hector G. Garza Jr., David Garza, Marco Garza and Roger Salinas.
