Alfredo G. Rodriguez

Alfredo “Freddy” G. Rodriguez, age 70, passed away February 13, 2020. He was born on September 16, 1949 to Santos and Manuela Rodriguez, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

After many years working in the refineries as a painter/sandblaster, he retired in 2015. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed fishing. Freddy loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Alfredo “Freddy” is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Blas Rodriguez Sr. and Santos Rodriguez, Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Guillerma “Billie” Rodriguez, two children, Gracie (Richard) Franco, Adan (Gloria) Rodriguez, eight grandchildren, Melissa, Noreen, Adan Jr., Jordan, Elizabeth, Kailey, Xavier and Joaquin, three great-grandchildren, Angel, Derek and Ivanna, siblings, Juan (Rosa+) Rodriguez, Delia (Jerry) Garcia, Gloria (Luis) Casiano, Joe (Kina) Rodriguez, Mary Helen (John) Ramirez, Narcisco (Maria) Rodriguez, Ernesto (Maria) Rodriguez, Rosie (Johnny) Salazar, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Monday, February 17, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. the same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Adan Rodriguez, Franchesco Martinez, Narcisco Rodriguez Jr., Rene Rodriguez, Mario Salazar, Manuel Villarreal, David Carrizales, and Adrian Rodriguez.
