Abran (Abraham) P. Moreno

Mr. Abraham P. Moreno, our beloved Papa, entered into God's presence on March 24, 2018. He passed peacefully with his loving family at his side. Abe was born on February 12, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a 1958 graduate of Roy Miller High School. He was a caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Abe owned several businesses during his lifetime, including Gulf, Exxon, and Texaco stations. He was an ASE Master mechanic and served his lifelong clients with honesty and integrity.
Abe had a joyful zest for life and traveled the country extensively, enjoying countless trips with his wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also traveled with his sisters- and brothers-in-law. Abe was the "Greatest Papa" that ever lived and he could fix anything! He loved his family above all and they adored him. He will be sorely missed by many.
Abe is preceded in death by his parents, Zenovio and Eva Mendieta Moreno, sisters Maria and Rosa Moreno, brothers Ricardo, Paul, and Juan Moreno, and grandson Thomas Abraham Garcia. Abe is survived by his adoring wife Adela, loving daughters Deborah (Orlando) Garcia, Corina Torres Lopez, grandchildren Juliet and Vincent Garcia, Mercedes and Dulce Jones, and great-grandchildren Michael Anthony Jones and Zackary Carlos Cosme. He is also survived by his sister Bea Ceja, brother Benjamin (Gloria) Moreno, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home, Reid Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
