Santa G Heath, a long-time resident of Mathis, Texas, was called to heaven Thursday the 14th of September. She was born April 15th, 1938 in LaVilla, Texas to Leo and Juanita Garza.

Mom was well known in Mathis where she spent the last 20 years of her life doing the things she loved most, tending to her shop, “Somewhere in Time Antiques and Collectables”. She loved talking with all who would come by to look, buy, or just visit. She had a fiery spirit that got her through anything life threw at her and inspired those who loved her to do the same.

Mom is survived by her husband Leonel, 1 sister Rosario (Challo), 3 daughters & spouses, Desi (Lisa) Letty, Angie (Hilda), 3 sons & spouses Javier, Leo (Monica), and Eric (Jessica), 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.

“Mom, you are strong, independent, we love you and thank you for showing us the way.”

A gathering will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
