Robert M. Franco

Robert M. Franco was born on October 7, 1934 to parents Servando and Maria de la Cruz Franco, passed away at the age of 84 on October 29, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Robert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, later in life he enjoyed sitting out on his porch relaxing and spending time with family and friends listening to spanish music.  Robert married the love of his life Elena Gomez Franco with whom he had 10 children. Robert worked at Alamo Trucking as a truck driver until his retirement. Bobby is dearly loved and will be missed.
 
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Servando and Maria de la Cruz Franco, his loving wife Elena, his son Juan Francisco (Kiko) Franco, his granddaughter Lori.
Also his siblings Servando Franco, Olga Cartwright, Emma Ybarra and Carmen Lazo
 
Robert is survived by his children Rosemary (Moises) Estrada, Jesus (Laura) Gomez, Albert (Sharon) Franco, Belinda (Rick) Delgado, Sandy (Richard) Munoz, Daniel (Diana) Franco, Eloisa (Manuel Anaya) Cantu, Maria (Eric Cardiel) Hernandez, and Juanita (Javier) Hernandez. and 30 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
 
Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 9 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Corpus Christi Funeral Home 2409 Baldwin with a rosary to be recited at 7pm the same evening.
 
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, November 3rd 2018 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church.
 
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
 
Pallbearers will be his grandsons:  Ed Jordan Hernandez Jr., Reynaldo Flores Jr., John Anthony Silvas, Joshua Estrada, Richard Munoz Jr, Robert C. Gomez, Jesus J. Gomez and honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hernandez and Xavier Cardiel
