My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to Marie and family. You all remain in my prayers for comfort and understanding.
I am the brother of Cpt. Dwaine E. Mattox, USAF. Dwaine was the pilot of the C123 that crashed it Cam Ranh Bay on August 10, 1970 resulting in the loss of his life and two others. It is a true miracle and Gods Blessing that Bob survived the unfortunate accident.
It is with deepest regret and sadness that I never had the honor to speak with or know Bob personally. Bob is a true Hero in so many aspects from the accomplishments of his living years.
May God Bless You Bob, your family and friends.
Keith

Dear Marie,

Our thoughts are with you; Bob was a fantastic person and we valued his friendship. The years we lived in Kuala Lumpur were very special Both you and Bob supported Ed and I as we brought our boys up without any family support. You were our family and Bob will always have a special place in our hearts.
We thankful we made it to Corpus Christi at the beginning of 2017 and we were able to spend some time with you and Bob before he became unwell.
Love from Carol, Ed, Hamish, and Ryan Krebs
