Rhonda Kay Baker, age 58, lost her short battle to Colon Cancer on June 29, 2017. Rhonda was born in Corpus Christi, Texas July 16, 1958 to Carl and Lucille Baker. Rhonda graduated from Richard King High School in 1976.
Rhonda worked for over 30 years for IRC. After leaving IRC (TRW) she worked for Tiger Mart and JR Viola. Rhonda loved her family and friends but her true love was her cats. She also loved her trips to the casinos.
Rhonda is preceded in passing by her parents Carl and Lucille Baker.
Rhonda is survived by her sister: Suzie Hinds (Arron), Niece Alysha Smith, Nephew Michael Smith (Melissa) and Great-Nephews Cody & Kane Smith. Rhonda is also survived by many loving relatives, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Seaside Memorial Reid Chapel, 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78412, followed by Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial.
Pallbearers will be Nick Sissamis, Richard Battersby, Eric Battersby, James Starry, Jeremy Szepessy and Christopher Freeman.
Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Smith, Andy Szepessy and Michael Szepessy III.
