Raquel G. Garcia, age 63, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017. She was a very caring person who enjoyed helping others.

Raquel is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Luis and Zulema Gomez, brothers, Jose Luis Gomez and Ruben Gomez.

She is survived by her husband, Juan G. Garcia, Sr., her children, Juan Garcia, Jr. (Mary Jo), Criselda Garcia Martinez (Gabriel) and Christina Garcia (Angie), 7 Grandchildren, her siblings, Rene Gomez, Maryann Maldonado, Angelita Soliz (Jorge), Juanita Perez, Norma Cervantes and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 14, 207 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
