Ramon Angel Gonzalez Zamora, “Abuelito”, passed away peacefully at his residence on Greenwood Dr, on August 30th, 2017 at age 81.
He was surrounded by his loving son Moises Gonzalez, wife Erendira, and their children Emiliano, Moises and Samuel.
Ramon Gonzalez was an electrician and a barber. Strong and courageous, he closed his barbershop of almost 50 years on Greenwood Dr. a few weeks before his passing.
Active member of Kelsey Memorial Methodist Church for many decades. He sang in the choir and taught biblical doctrine.
Abuelito donated faithfully to several ministries and organizations for years.
Ramon Gonzalez is preceded in death by his oldest son Raymond Gonzalez.
He is survived by his brother Magdaleno Gonzalez Cruz; 2 sons, 3 daughters in law; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Kelsey Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
