Pilar Longoria, age 84, passed away on September 5, 2017.
She was born on September 11, 1932 to Manuel Longoria and Luz Flores. Pilar was retired. She enjoyed participation at the American Legion, VFW, sewing, crochet, upholstering and refurbished antiques. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, sense of adventure and devotion to family. Pilar was a loving mother, grandmother and great, great great grandmother. Pilar is preceded in death by parents, Manuel Longoria and Luz Flores; her daughters Helen Diaz, Angie Diaz; her brother, Lorenzo Novar; her sisters, Mary Ramirez and Angelita Ruelas.
Pilar is survived by her son, Justino L. Diaz; her daughters, Manuelita Shadaram, Isabel Diaz, Diana Galabeas, her son, Edward L. Diaz; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
