Paulo G. O’Riley beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away October 19, 2017 at the age of 76 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He proudly served in the United States Army from 1958-1961. He met the love of his life in 1963, whom he had been happily married to for 53 years. Paulo had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed music, cooking, spending time with his family and participating as an usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Garcia, brother Pedro Garcia, sisters Alicia Lopez and Helen Gutierrez.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Dolores G. O’Riley, son John E. O’Riley and daughters Paula Trevino (Joe Garcia), Priscilla (Luis) Romero, Patricia O’Riley and Angie Espinosa, grandchildren Paul R. O’Riley, Jake Trevino and Lucy Romero, great grandchildren Paul D., Brandon L. and Lillian O’Riley, brothers Frank (Elva) Cavazos and Samuel (Linda) Garcia, cherished nephews, nieces, family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Interment to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Garcia, Frank Cavazos III, Rene Ramos Jr., Roel Gutierrez, Anthony Montez, Alvino Reyna Jr., and Roger Chavez.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
