Lynda Kay Grabbs (nee Geistman), passed away in her home on February 21, 2017.
She is survived by her loving offspring, daughter Tiffini Adamson, wife of Nathan Smith of London Ontario, step-daughter, Mariah Wolf, wife of Skeeter Wolf of Corpus Christi, son, David Grabbs, Jr. of College Station, TX and granddaughter Emily Adamson, also of London, Ontario, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Lynda was preceeded in death by her husband, David Grabbs, Sr (2012), her brother Grant Geistman (2006), her mother Lynn Geistman (2006), and father P.L. Geistman (1975). Born in Corpus Christi on June 5, 1953, Lynda was an avid Girl Scout and a 1971 graduate of W. B. Ray high school. As the daughter of a Texas A&M graduate, Lynda was very proud of her daughter’s graduating from TAMUCC, and even more thrilled when her son became a true Aggie, class of 2018. Lynda enjoyed reading historical and mystery crime novels, as well as popular fiction hits like Harry Potter, a wonderful world she shared with her children and granddaughter. Lynda also deeply cared for animals, especially cats, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gulf Coast Humane Society. She will be remembered for her kindness and her love of sharing good food with friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at The Reid Chapel 4357 Ocean Dr.
