To Juvenal Rocha Family:
I am so sad to learn of Juvenal's passing.
I first got to meet and know your father as a young lawyer and fellow member of the Corpus Christi Chapter of the American GI Forum and immediately thought of him as a dear, gentle, and good man and continued to think of him that way ever since. I knew him to be a great believer in education and ambassador of good will amongst mankind.
The last few years it was my wife, Dolly's, great pleasure to get together with him and Mary at dances, when we would sit together having great conversations and laughs together and sometimes going to have menudo afterwards. I shall miss him dearly.
GOD BLESS HIS SOUL and GOD BLESS YOU ALL THROUGH THIS PERIOD OF REMEMBERANCE AND GRIEF. I KNOW HE IS ALREADY MEETING OLD DEPARTED FRIENDS AND MAKING NEW ONES. I KNOW I WILL NOT BE JOINING HIM IN HEAVEN, BUT MY LIFE ON EARTH EAS ENRICHED JUST KNOWING HIM.

A little more than 53 years ago I joined the Rocha family when I married the love of my life, Romeo Rocha. Everyone was so friendly and accepted me as family. However, Juvenal holds a very special place in my heart. His beautiful smile and personality made me feel so loved. I can't remember ever seeing him without a smile. He will be missed here on earth but I know that now we have another angel watching over us.
