Justino M. Diaz, Sr., age 93, passed away on September 23, 2017.

Justino was born on April 14, 1924 to Francisco and Valencia Diaz. Justino M. Diaz, Sr. retired from Nueces Transit Authority of Corpus Christi, Texas. Justino enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 22. He enjoyed participation dancing, wood working, birthday party celebration, Barbequing, and time with family and friends. He was our instructor for many professions such as automotive repair, wood working projects, and overall home repair. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile and his devotion to family. Justino was a lovin father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Justino M. Diaz, Sr. is preceded in death his parents Francisco and Valencia Diaz, his brothers Domingo Diaz, Lasaro Diaz, and Faustino Diaz.

Justino is survived by his sons Justino L. Diaz, Jr., Edward Diaz, his daughters Manuelita Shadaram, Isabel Diaz, and Diana Galabeas; also survived by sisters Vicenta Garcia, Petra DeLeon, and by brothers Porfirio Diaz, and Juan Diaz; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Christ The King Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
