Joe “Joey” Torres, age 49, passed away on August 13, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Joe Torres was born on September 14, 1967 to Jose G. Torres and Maria E. Torres. He will always be remembered for loving life, being with his family, going to the beach, camping, fishing, he loved to travel, he had a special bond with everyone, loving in his own way. Joey was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cousin. Joe “Joey” Torres is preceded in death by his nephew Adrian T. Rios.
Joe Torres is survived by his parents Jose G. and Maria E. Torres; his wife Debbie Palacios Torres, his children Joe Angel Torres (Victoria), Jonathan Elliot Torres; his stepchildren Evelyn Hernandez, D’Andra Hernandez; his brother Ruben Torres (Sylvia), his sisters Delma Chavarria (Alonzo), Sylvia Laureles (Johnny), Esther Tobias (Don), Lorie Ann Diaz (Luis); his grandchildren Dezirae Torres, Angel Marie Torres, J’ Adrian Mills, Kendall D. Livas (Kakes), Yasmine Villamar, and George Villamar; nieces and nephews Lorraine, Valerie, Criselda, Alonzo Jr., Johnny Joe, Priscilla, Arlene, Joe Michael, Baby Ruben, Faith Elena, Luis, Mariah, Rudy, Maranda, Mark, Rayanna, Joe Lee, Ariel, Jazlyn, Christopher, Nate, Cash, Rocco, Sadie, Ryan, Maddie, Amalia, John Anthony, Alyssa, Eliana, Adrian, Adalyn, Jeremiah, Jacob, Adrian, John Michael, Hazel, Aiden; and numerous of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same evening.
