Joe N. Nunez, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Joe graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1994. He enjoyed cooking bbq, football, listening to music, carpentry and driving his family to family gatherings. Joe was known for being everyone’s big brother, his devotion to his family and the laughter he gave to others. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, April R. Nunez; his children Joe Nieves Nunez Jr., Monique Nicole Nunez, Valerie Rose Nunez; his parents, Nieves R. Nunez Jr. and Guadalupe T. Nunez; brother-in-law’s Paul Sosa (Yvette), Michael (Melissa) Sosa, Joel Sosa; his father-in-law Paulo O. Sosa Jr., grandmother Victoria Villagran. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, great niece and great nephew.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel, 4357 Ocean Dr., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Christ The King Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
