Irma Blanca Ancira

Irma Blanca Ancira 84 passed away on March 16, 2024.  She was born on April 3, 1939 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Librada Ramos Ancira and Baldomero Garcia Ancira. Irma was a homemaker for most of her life. She graduated school in Mexico.

She enjoyed going shopping, dancing, listening to music, going to movies, and spending time with family. She was an animal lover as well.

She will be remembered for her love of her family and pets, her sense of humor, fierce independence and passion for what she cared and loved.

Irma Blanca Ancira was not only a loving mother, but also loving grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.  

Ms. Ancira is preceded in death by her parents Librada Ramos Ancira and Baldomero Garcia Ancira, Her three brothers Santiago Ramos Ancira,  Baldermar Ramos Ancira and Antonio Ramos Ancira

Survived by her children, Patricia T. Vela, Claudia Ancira Morales, grandchildren, Johnny (Lachito) Vela (Vanessa), Marcus Aldo Vela (Cassie), great grandchildren, Alijah Puebla, Lillian J. Vela, Jon Kristian Vela, Deacon Seth Vela, sister, Norma Ancira, nieces and nephews, countless of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers are: Johnny Vela-grandson, Marcus A. Vela-grandson, Jon K. Vela-great-grandson, Deacon S. Vela-great-grandson, Ruben Cortez- nephew and Mario A. Garcia- family friend.

Special thanks to Tomasa Garcia who was her home health care provider for many years. The family is very grateful to Ms. Garcia for how good she took care Ms. Ancira.  Also for those coming from out of town for the services for Irma Blanca Ancira.
