Fred J. Tajchman, age 60, passed away July 25, 2017. He was born on October 30, 1956 to Joe Jerome Tajchman and Louise Agnes Riess in Robstown, Texas. He was raised in Robstown, Texas he graduated from Robstown High School. Fred was employed by K&R Compressor Services. Fred was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and nephew. He enjoyed surfing, fishing and hunting. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community, devotion to his daughter and his love of the outdoors.
Fred is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister: Pauline Mueck and grandparents. Fred is survived by his daughter: Shawna Hamilton Chapa, siblings: Patricia (Arlon) Zamzow, Janet (James) Heine, Jerry (Mary Helen) Tajchman, Georgia Foster, Mary Louise (Jimmie) Wilson, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
