Frances Nava Hernandez, 79, passed away on February 14, 2018.
Frances was born on May 12, 1938 to Zoila Lozano and Conrado Nava. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Avina, son, Johnny Nava, daughter, Margaret Cano and daughter, Pola Prado.
Frances Hernandez is survived by her son, Encarncion Hernandez III (Lora), son, Tony Hernandez, daughter, Maria Christina Hernandez; grandchildren, Alfonzo, Moses, Sandra, Jessica, Ashley, Frances, Samantha, Sabas and Juan; 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Frances was known for her vibrate personality-her friendliness and stunning smile. She had people drawn to her natural way of making them feel at ease.
She worked as a waitress well over 30 years and loved serving people. Her passion for her customers had regulars waiting to be seated and served by her.
The most treasured part of her life was her family. She wellfully raised most of her grandchildren and enjoyed having family night dates of cooking and playing loteria.
Frances enjoyed dancing, cooking, crafts, and sitting telling stories.
Her beautiful smile and laughter will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
