Ernestina Saenz

Ernestina Rivier Saenz, age 87, was held in the palm of God’s hand as she made her way to heaven Thursday night. We praise God for her peaceful transition. Mom took her last breath at 9:39 p.m. on Thursday January 17, 2019 surrounded in love by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Arabelia (Garcia) Rivier; sisters, Marcelina Portillo, Christina Aguilar, Rose Marie Gonzalez; brother Jesus Rivier; husband, David Saenz Sr; and son, Ernesto Saenz.
 She is survived by two brothers, Joaquin Rivier and Cecil Rivier; her children, David Saenz Jr (Susie), Mary Margaret Jimenez (David), Maria Carmen Davis (Gary), Maria Magdalena Reyes (Jesus), Diana Edwards, Jose Antonio Saenz (Lisa), Veronica Saenz, Evangelina Dobens (Bruce), Robert Saenz (Dora), Jesus Saenz (Stephanie); many, many grandchildren; many, many more great grand-children; several grandchildren expecting; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The blessings are many even as we grieve the loss of such a loving person. Loved by many and not soon to be forgotten.

Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, January 25th, 2019 with Rosary beginning at 4:00 p.m. followed by a mass.
