David Lopez Ramon

In loving memory of David Lopez Ramon, a man whose life was a beautiful symphony of love, faith, and talent. David’s journey on this earth came to a peaceful end on April 19, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on November 9, 1959, to the proud parents Matias and Jovita Ramon, David’s presence was a beacon of light to all who knew him.

A dedicated graduate of Miller High School and a valued employee of H-E-B, David poured his heart into everything he did. His deep passion for his church, music, photography, UFC matches, and going to the movies reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life.

David’s exceptional trumpet skills and love for God were evident to all who crossed his path. His musical talents were immortalized in various albums, but his true joy came from playing on the praise and worship team at Primera Asamblea de Dios and for many years at Solid Rock Church.

A beloved father, son, brother, cousin, and grandfather, David’s love knew no bounds. His kindness, respect, and unwavering devotion to Christ Jesus were the pillars of his life, bringing warmth and joy to those around him.

David Lopez Ramon is now reunited with his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ramon, his father Matias Ramon, his brother Daniel Ramon, his sister-in-law Cynthia Ramon, and his grandparents Guadalupe and Antonia Ramon, Pedro and Juanita Lopez.

He is survived by his mom Jovita Ramon, children Mark, Luis, Urbano, Loimi, Virginia, Marisol, and brother Rick Ramon, as well as a host of cherished grandchildren, each a testament to his enduring legacy.

His grandchildren, Avery, Luis II, Gianna, Ethan, Jayleen, Aiden, Mia, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel Jr., Andrew, Uriah, Fidel Noah, Dominique, Heaven, Jeshua, Jazzlyn, Olivia, Nicolas, and Marisol, will carry forward his spirit of love and music.

Luis Ramon, Urbano Ramon, Daniel Ramon Jr., Guillermo “Willy” Lopez, Carlos Martinez, and Antonio Garcia will serve as Pallbearers, with Mark Ramon and Rick Ramon as Honorary Pallbearers, honoring David’s memory with love and respect.

David Lopez Ramon’s legacy of love, music, and faith will forever be cherished and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts, a melody that will never fade.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Solid Rock Church, 3035 Ayers, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. that same evening. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2024, at Solid Rock Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
